On December 5, 2013 a great world political leader passed away.
Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary as well as a politician and philanthropist who also served as the first black South African to be President of South Africa from 1994-1999
He was a huge activist for his country and was an activist to get rid of racism in his country as well as improve human rights and decrease poverty.
He was highly respected and loved by not only his country but also the world.
