What's Going On In There Week 14!

It's Monday again which means that it's time for another installment of.............

What's Going On In There Week 14 edition!

So let's see how Baby Truex is growing inside there!

Lanugo: This is the extra fine downy soft covering of hair that will start to cover the entire baby. This will help Baby Truex stay warm until the baby starts to gain more fat in the few weeks. But not to worry by the time it's the big arrival date most if not all of this hair will be gone!

Face: Remember all those times your mom said if you keep your face like that it will freeze that way forever? Well thanks to impulses going on in the Little Munchkin's brain the baby will start making and practices some of those faces such as squints, frowns, and grimaces to name a few.

Arm: This is the final week stretch for Baby Truex's little arms! By the end of the week they will be in proportion to the rest of their little body and ready for bone hardening and fat gaining coming up in the next few weeks!

Uterus: Once again I had to laugh at this one for this week! Normally this is when the uterus has risen above the pelvic bone and may start to push out your tummy to finally start giving you the start of the pregnant look and not just the "I had a huge lunch" look! Since my uterus is placed a bit differently I'm already starting to have the start of the pregnancy look and can feel my uterus just below my belly button.

As you can see things are still growing and grooving inside The Little Munchkin's happy and temporary uterine home but we still have 26 weeks left to go and a lot of things to grow, learn, and gain! So keep coming back each Monday too see another fabulous edition of What's Going On In There!
